
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will present the Kerala State Film Awards 2024 at 6:30 pm today. Minister Saji Cherian will preside over the ceremony to be held at Nishagandhi Auditorium. Actress Sharada will receive the J.C. Daniel Award, the highest film honour of the state government, from the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister will present awards to 51 film talents including Mammootty, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Vedan, Shamla Hamza, Lijomol Jose, Jyothirmayi, Soubin Shahir, Siddharth Bharathan, Chidambaram, Fazil Mohammed, Sushin Shyam, Sameera Saneesh, Sayanora Philip, etc
After the award presentation ceremony, there will be a musical program led by the award winners for best playback singers K.S. Harishankar and Seba Tommy. The book containing complete information about the film awards will be released by General Education Minister V. Sivankutty and presented to Minister G.R. Anil. Film Academy Chairperson Dr. Resul Pookutty will deliver the introductory speech. Jury Chairperson and actor Prakash Raj will present the film jury report. Cultural Department Director Dr. Divya S. Iyer will present the J.C. Daniel jury report.
