Baburaj, the once face of antagonism in Malayalam cinema, is now more focused on character roles that come with a tinge of humour. The portrayal as ‘cook Babu’ in the 2012 movie ‘Salt N' Pepper’ is a testament to his versatility, making him don any character the script demands. As part of the promotion work for his latest movie ‘Little hearts’, Baburaj is busy these days with interviews. In one such candid talk, the actor mentioned his rapport with Dileep.
Baburaj:
“He is the king of comedy. He knows how to make the most of such situations and it is a given that he will deliver. I will never forget his advice ‘to never lose an opportunity to make others smile’. He applies this rule in cinema too and the result will be a fun-filled ride. Just take the case of ‘Mayamohini’. At the film set, we used to laugh till noon and sometimes even failed to complete a scene. Most of the humour in the movie was Dileep’s contribution. He is an architect when it comes to placing humour in movies.”
