"My question was taken differently. I was called stupid and senseless by her in another interview. So I had to question her at the next press meet. I did not body shame her. I just asked the hero how he managed to pick her up in a scene. My question was a joke, but it got interpreted differently.

I had no intention to hurt the actress. However, I know she went through distress, and I apologise for the same,” Karthik said.
