
LOS ANGELES: Michael B Jordan won the best actor award for his role in 'Sinners' at the 98th Academy Awards. Paul Thomas Anderson's Leonardo DiCaprio-starrer 'One Battle After Another' won the awards, including Best Director and Best Picture. The film won six awards, including this one.
Jessie Buckley won best actress award for Hamnet. Autumn Durald Arkapo, who won the award for cinematography for 'Sinners', became the first black woman to win an Oscar. 'Sinners' won four awards, including Best Actor, Camera and Music Score.
'One Battle After Another' won the award for best adapted screenplay. Indian film legends Dharmendra, Manoj Kumar, B Saroja Devi and Kota Srinivasa Rao were honoured at the Oscars. Jessie Buckley, who was named best actress, became the first Iris star to win the award.
