'Real lover not Vijay; Why Trisha called off her engagement in 2015?'

Sangeetha Sornalingam, wife of actor and Tamil Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay, filed for divorce from the actor on Friday. The application was filed in the Chengalpettu family court. Sangeetha cited the actor for being in an extramarital affair with an actress and accused him of mental torture and humiliation. Although she did not mention the actress, many adjudged Vijay’s paramour as Trisha.

Now, popular singer and whistle-blower Suchitra came forward to respond to the incident. Suchitra revealed that Vijay is in love with Trisha, but the actress has her eyes set on Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. The singer explained this in a recent interview.

Suchitra:

“Vijay may be in love with Trisha, but she is not. Trisha likes Udhayanidhi Stalin. Everyone thinks Trisha likes Dhanush. But Trisha's true lover is Udhayanidhi. She was supposed to be Stalin's daughter-in-law. Udhayanidhi and Trisha are like Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha of the industry.

Take my word, Trisha will not marry anyone. Their relationship goes beyond that. Who do you think broke Trisha’s marriage with Varun Manian? It was junior Stalin. Dhanush and Vijay don’t wield such powers, unlike Udhayanidhi”
