CHENNAI: A social media post shared by actress Trisha during the Tamil Nadu Assembly election battle has become a major talking point. After casting her vote, Trisha’s post has been interpreted as a signal of support for actor Vijay’s political party, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

Following the vote, Trisha shared a photo on Instagram showing her inked finger. However, fans were more captivated by the song she chose for the post than the image itself. She used the hit song "Arjunar Villu" from her blockbuster movie Ghilli, in which she starred alongside Vijay, as the background music.

Fans noticed that she specifically included the section of the song featuring whistle sounds, which is widely seen as a reference to the TVK party's symbol. Comments such as "Code word accepted" and "The Arjunar Villu hint is clear" have been flooding her post.

Trisha arrived at the polling booth in a simple look accompanied by her mother, Uma. For a long time, rumours regarding the friendship and alleged relationship between Vijay and Trisha have been circulating on social media. Their recent appearance together at certain wedding ceremonies had also made headlines. This indirect support from Trisha during Vijay's political debut has created significant excitement among his fans. Currently, Trisha is awaiting the release of the film "Karuppu" starring Suriya. Meanwhile, the election results remain crucial for the future of Vijay's political career.
