Victory for Kunchacko Boban, loss for Nivin Pauly

Film stars compete at the Ernakulam RTO office to own their favorite numbers. Actor Kunchacko Boban won the number KL 07 DG 0459 in the hotly contested number auction held yesterday.

Although Kunchacko Boban's number is not in the fancy category, it was put up for auction after other bidders came for this number. The actor won the number for twenty thousand rupees in the online auction.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly withdrew from the auction without owning his favourite number. Nivin Pauly had booked the fancy number KL07DG0011. Another person bid for a higher amount and bought the number.

The fancy number KL07DG0007 was bought by an Ernakulam native for Rs. 48.26 lakh. The previous highest number auction in Kerala was in 2019. The number KL 01 CK 0001 was auctioned for Rs 31 lakh. The number KL 07 DG 0001 under the Ernakulam RTO was acquired by Piravom native Thomson Sabu for Rs 25.52 lakh. A deposit of Rs 1 lakh was required in this auction.
