Who will be the hero in Lokah's second part? co-writer drops hint

Malayalam blockbuster 'Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra' has officially entered the Rs 200 crore club, becoming only the fourth Malayalam film to achieve this milestone. The film reached the mark in just 13 days. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and directed by Dominic Arun, the movie is also making waves internationally.

Now, actress Santhy Balachandran, who is also the co-writer of the film, has hinted that the sequel will focus on the story of Chaathan. Through her Instagram story, Santhy hinted that the sequel will give more importance to Tovino’s character.

Recently, Tovino shared a celebratory card on Instagram marking the film’s Rs 200 crore success, captioned with the dialogue, “Namma jayichittom Maara, jayichittom”, tagging the director and team. Responding to this, Santhy wrote, “Tovi, next it’s your turn. Thank you for standing strong with the captain and the team.”

Tovino replied, “We will rock.” This exchange has fueled strong speculation that Tovino will lead the sequel as the main protagonist.
