According to reports, she submitted a petition before the Chengalpattu Family Court, alleging an extramarital relationship between her husband and an actress. Following these claims, actress Trisha Krishnan has been facing widespread cyber attacks, with several social media users accusing her of being responsible for the reported issues in Vijay’s marriage.

As discussions continue, Trisha’s past engagement has also resurfaced. The actress got engaged to Chennai-based businessman Varun Manian on January 23, 2015. The engagement ceremony was held in a grand manner, but the wedding was eventually called off.

Trisha had previously spoken openly about her decision to end the engagement. She stated that she chose to step away from the marriage after being asked to quit her acting career.

“The person I was going to marry asked me to stop acting. Instead of giving up films, I decided to step away from the marriage. Even if I don’t get heroine roles, I will choose roles that suit my image. But I will not leave cinema. I want to act until my last breath,” Trisha had said in an earlier interview.
