‘He is like my own brother’; Manju Pillai’s surprise gift for Karthik Surya

Anchor and social media influencer Karthik Surya tied the knot today. He got married to Varsha, his murapennu (daughter of maternal or paternal aunts). Karthik had earlier clarified that it was not a love marriage, but a proposal put forwarded by his family.

Karthik shares everything on his YouTube channel. There was also a live streaming of the wedding function. Karthik had openly said about the gift given by actress Manju Pillai for the wedding through his vlog. Manju Pillai gave him a ring made of platinum and gold and a white bracelet with the Vel of Lord Murugan.

Manju Pillai initially planned to give him a ring made with the tail of an elephant. However, Manju clarified that a platinum ring suits him more. The actress said Karthik is like her younger brother and that she wanted to give him a gift that he will never forget, said Manju Pillai.

'I am a devotee of Lord Murugan. Manju chechi is like my own sister. She is one who gave me a ring for the second time in my life. Varsha was the first to give me a ring. Now, like Rangannan in Avesham is adorned with all kinds of jewelry,' said Karthik. Karthik Surya got famous through his vlog. He later became a host in a channel programme. Manju Pillai is also present in this programme.
