AHMEDABAD: Vishwas Kumar Ramesh (40), who miraculously survived the plane crash in Ahmedabad plane, is still in shock and said that he still doesn’t remember how he survived. Vishwas Kumar (40), a British citizen of Indian origin, is the lone survivor of the crash. His seat was 11A. He was returning to London after meeting his relatives in Gujarat.

His first reaction on how he survived the disaster has come. 'I still don't remember how I survived. I thought I was going to die. But when I opened my eyes, I realized that I was alive, so I quickly opened my seat belt and got out through the emergency exit. The air hostess and others died right in front of my eyes. A minute after take-off, I felt like the plane had got stuck. Then the green and white lights came on. The pilots tried to raise the plane, but it went full speed and crashed into the building,' he said.

He told the media that he was talking to his brother Nayan Ramesh on video call during the tragedy and called his father immediately after the accident.

Ramesh had multiple injuries all over his body. Doctors said that he is out of danger. Hospital authorities have advised Vishwas to switch off his phone and remain on bed rest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vishwas at the Ahmedabad hospital this morning.
