Accident at Bengaluru airport; Tempo Traveler crashes into IndiGo aircraft, one injured

BENGALURU: A Tempo Traveller crashed into an IndiGo aircraft parked at Kempegowda International Airport. The incident took place on Friday afternoon. Authorities said that the Tempo Traveller of the ground handling agency lost control and crashed into the aircraft. The Traveller driver was injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment.

IndiGo said that the accident occurred due to the driver's negligence and an investigation has been launched. The incident took place around 12:15 pm on Friday. The aircraft was parked at Alpha Parking Bay 71 on Friday for engine maintenance. While the crew was disembarking, the Traveller lost control and crashed into the underside of the IndiGo aircraft. The underside of the aircraft and the top of the Traveller were damaged. The main glass of the van was also broken.
