PATNA: Exit poll projections indicate that the NDA is poised to retain power in Bihar after a closely contested election. The findings suggest that the INDIA bloc’s energetic campaign failed to translate into sufficient votes. All four exit polls released so far show the BJP-JDU alliance holding a clear edge.

The Dainik Bhaskar exit poll estimates that the NDA could win between 145 and 160 seats, while the INDIA alliance may secure 73 to 91 seats. The JSP is projected to win up to three seats, with other parties likely to claim between five and seven.

The Matrize survey forecasts 147–167 seats for the NDA, 70–90 seats for the INDIA bloc, 0–2 seats for the JSP, and 2–8 seats for other parties.

According to People’s Insight, the NDA may win 133–148 seats, the INDIA bloc 87–102 seats, the JSP 0–2 seats, and others 3–6 seats.

The People’s Pulse poll also predicts a strong showing for the NDA with 133–148 seats, while the INDIA alliance may get 75–101 seats. The JSP is expected to win 0–5 seats, and other parties 2–8 seats.
