Dispute over parking; mechanic sets youth on fire with petrol

NEW DELHI: Amidst a dispute over parking, a youth was set on fire by pouring petrol. Bike mechanic Gayaprasad (42) set Rahul Chauhan (40) on fire by pouring petrol. The shocking incident happened in Delhi's R K Puram on July 13.

The crime was triggered by a dispute when Rahul and his friends were not willing to park their car in a different place as demanded by mechanic Gayaprasad. Rahul, who suffered severe burns on his face and chest, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The police have registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
