Inhumane and ruthless; Coaching centre brutality in Delhi caught on camera

NEW DELHI: A video emerged showing a teacher ruthlessly beating up a student at a coaching centre functioning in the national capital. The video of this is going viral on social media. In the footage circulating, the teacher can be seen thrashing the student with a cane. Despite the plea from the student, the teacher doesn’t stop. At one point, the teacher even slapped and kicked the student in the face. None of the classmates tried to stop the teacher's violence but remained silent, mostly caught in the fright of the incident.

After the video surfaced, the teacher came under heavy criticism. Many blamed the other students for not rising to the moment to support the victim. Netizens demanded strict action against such coaching mafias. Some pointed out that all the other children in the classroom must have been mentally devastated after seeing this scene.

Some opined that it was no surprise that students who attend such 'coaching centres' end up losing confidence in life. Some commented that the attitude of some students who were laughing at the harassment was concerning.
