NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that he is proud of the armed forces for the retaliatory action taken by India against Pakistan under the name of 'Operation Sindoor' for the Pahalgam terror attack. Operation Sindoor is India's response to the brutal killing of innocent brothers in Pahalgam. The Modi government is determined to give a befitting reply to any attack on India and the Indian people. Amit Shah also made it clear on social media that India is firm in eradicating terrorism.
The Indian Army attacked terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir early this morning under the name of 'Operation Sindoor'. India destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan through the military operation. India's missile attack targeted the banned terrorist organizations Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen operating in Pakistan. More than eighty terrorists were killed. The army announced the military operation as 'Justice done, Jai Hind'.
Opposition parties have come out in full support of Operation Sindoor. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge responded that this is the time to stand together and stand firmly with the government. Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi responded that he is proud of the armed forces. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal also said that he is proud of the Indian soldiers.
