14-year-old boy levels serious allegations against grandma after her lover forced him to use drugs

KOCHI: A 14-year-old boy has alleged that his grandma’s boyfriend forced him to use drugs. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the ninth-class boy and his mother. The boy’s grandmother and her lover of Thiruvananthapuram are absconding. The boy’s mother and grandma make a living by working as domestic maids.

The grandma made her boyfriend stay at their house on pretext of being a friend. When he first offered him ganja, the boy refused to take it. However, he brutally beat him and threatened him with a knife and then gave him ganja. He later made him addicted to drugs. The 14-year-old said that he also gave him hashish oil.

The boy said that sometimes his friends visit their house and use drugs. He also used the boy to smuggle drugs. Some changes were noticed on the boy’s behavior. He always spoke angrily and would throw away things.

The boy revealed all this to his friend and then his mother informed everything to the 14-year-old’s mother. His mother told a media that she was helpless when she heard the news. They then discussed the matter at home. The boy’s mother said that her mother's boyfriend told her that he would not let the two live. When things went out of hand, she filed a complaint with the police. The boy is being counselled now.
