CPM branch secretary arrested on complaint of touching private parts of boy

PALAKKAD: A CPM branch secretary has been arrested in a POCSO case. The arrested is N Shaji (35), branch secretary in Pudunagaram. The incident happened Tuesday morning. Shaji runs a sports equipment shop in Koduvayur. Shaji showed his private parts to a boy of tenth-class, when he came to buy jersey. He asked the boy to show his private parts and then touched it.

The Pudunagaram police registered a case against Shaji on the complaint of the boy’s parents. The accused produced in the court has been remanded.
