KOCHI: Eleven women were taken into custody for allegedly carrying out immoral activities at a hotel in Kochi. The women were arrested during a raid conducted by the police and the DANSAF team at the Arctic Hotel in Vyttila. According to the police, the immoral activities were being carried out at the hotel under the guise of a spa.
The police and the DANSAF team conducted the raid based on information that drug-related activities were taking place at the hotel. However, no drugs were found during the inspection. It was during the raid that 11 women involved in immoral activities were taken into police custody. Police stated that all 11 women are natives of Kerala.
The inspection, which lasted for more than two hours, was carried out under the leadership of the South Zone Superintendent of Police, based on intelligence reports indicating active drug sales centred around hotels in Kochi.
