Man commits suicide after hacking wife to death, son sustains serious injuries

KOCHI: An elderly man committed suicide after hacking his wife to death at Manjapetty in Perumbavoor. The dead is Ambika (60) of Plavidaparambil Kuthiraparambu. Her husband Chandran was later found hanging in a tree at an isolated area. The couple’s son also sustained serious injuries. He has been admitted at the Kalamassery Medical College Hospital. Police said family issues led to the murder.
