Man pours petrol on brother and set him on fire in Chottanikkara

KOCHI: A man poured petrol on his brother and set him on fire amidst a dispute. The incident happened last evening in Chottanikkara. The seriously injured brother identified as Manikandan has been admitted at the Kalamassery Medical College Hospital. The police have taken his brother Manikyan into custody. The incident happened at the parking ground of the Chottanikkara Temple.

The two were staying in a rented house in Chottanikkara. A verbal dispute broke out between the two. Manikyan, who went out returned with a bottle of petrol and poured it on his body and set him on fire. The police have registered a case.
