Quotation attack at Adoor Rest House; temporary employee who provided room fired

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Temporary employee has been dismissed in connection with the quotation attack that took place at the Adoor government rest house. Rajeev Khan, the employee who illegally allotted a room to the quotation group, was dismissed. The order was issued by the assistant executive engineer.

The man was kidnapped from Kochi and taken to the government rest house to be beaten up. In the case, Pratish and Akbar Shah who are natives of Kollam, Vishnu native of Pathanamthitta; and Subish and Lijo, natives of Ernakulam were arrested by the police.

Libin Varghese, a native of Chengannur, was kidnapped by the accused. After taking Libin and his wife in a car from Kakkanad, they left his wife in KINFRA area of ​​Kakkanad. Then the wife lodged a complaint with the Infopark police that her husband had been kidnapped. Meanwhile, the accused called Libin's brother and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh. During the investigation focused on the call, it was found that the gang was in the Adoor rest house. According to Info Park Police, Adoor Police reached the rest house and rescued Libin Varghese, and arrested three kidnappers. Libin was admitted to the medical college hospital with serious injuries to the skull.

Libin had dealings with some of the accused who attacked him. He rented a car from them and sold it to a ganja gang in Kochi causing them to retaliate.
