Six-member team attacks teacher, sustains serious injuries on ribs and eyes

KOZHIKODE: A teacher was brutally attacked by a six-member team. Dawood P Muhammad of Kuningad Muthuvadathur, the owner and teacher of Oxford College of English in Vadakara New Stand, was subjected to the attack. The incident happened last evening.

The accused entered Dawood's institution and attacked him. The teacher has been admitted to a private hospital in Vadakara with serious rib and eye injuries. Reports said one from the team was one of Dawood's students. Vadakara police reached the spot and shifted Dawood to the hospital. It is not yet clear why he was attacked. The police have registered a case and investigation has started.
