THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior CPM leader M M Mani has made a controversial remark against Chief Minister V D Satheesan for his decision to provide free KSRTC bus travel for women from June 15. His remark was that Satheesan would bring from home to run KSRTC. He also criticized that we should wait and see if there will be development in Kerala.

'The government that lost had done all good services. One can see what Satheesan is going to do. Everyone is fine by after getting pensions. Satheesan will bring from home to run KSRTC,' said M M Mani.

He said that former chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was not the only one responsible for the defeat of the LDF in the elections and that he did not think that the defeat was due to any individual. He was responding to questions from media persons regarding the criticism leveled against Pinarayi Vijayan and M V Govindan in the district committee meetings.

‘There are UDF MLAs in Idukki. Why did they give everything to people from other districts without making one a minister from here? The Congressmen are the great sinners who handed over the country to those who killed Gandhiji. We will wait and see if there will be development in Kerala. No one can do anything to us just because we lost the elections. We will face any situation. We will organize activities among the people. If we have made a mistake, we will examine what that mistake is and take corrective measures,' he added.
