20-year-old youth dies after bike hits metro pillar, one sustains serious injuries

ALUVA: A 20-year-old youth died after a bike rammed into a metro pillar in Muttom. The dead has been identified as Bilal of Pathanamthitta. Sriram of Kollam, who was pillion riding on Bilal’s bike, sustained serious injuries. The incident happened Monday morning. The bike lost control and crashed into metro pillar number 189. As soon as the accident happened, the two were taken to the hospital, but the life of Bilal could not be saved.

Bilal and Sriram sustained head injuries. The condition of Sriram is very critical. It is believed that since there was not much traffic at the time of the accident, it is being reported that the bike may have lost control and crashed.
