Appointment of V A Arunkumar: Kerala HC stays single bench order

KOCHI: The High Court stayed the single bench order to suo motu inquire into the appointment of IHRD Director-in-charge V.A. Arunkumar. The division bench comprising Justice Anil K. Narendran and Justice S. Murali Krishna stayed the order for a month to examine the credentials and eligibility of Arunkumar to hold the position.

The order was issued on a petition filed by Dr. Vinu Thomas, former principal of Thrikkakara Model Engineering College and Dean of Kerala Technical University.
