THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the mob lynching in Walayar has shocked Kerala. The Chief Minister said that there is an attempt to transplant the mob violence that the Sangh Parivar has succeeded in North India to Kerala, and that Kerala is not the place for it. He was talking to the media in Thiruvananthapuram.

Chief Minister:
'BJP and RSS are attacking Christmas celebrations. Sangh Parivar groups are behind everything. The government will investigate the cancellation of Christmas celebrations in some schools. It has been learnt that Christmas celebrations were cancelled after BMS asked to sing Ganageetham in some post offices. Efforts like cancelling Christmas celebrations in UP are being made in Kerala also."

"The killing of Ram Narayan is a shock to the conscience of Kerala. It is an attempt to transplant the mob violence that the Sangh Parivar has achieved in North India to Kerala. Kerala is not the place for that. That man came here from Chhattisgarh to protect his family. The family, consisting of his wife, two children and mother, became orphans with the murder of Ram Narayan.

"The cabinet meeting decided to allocate Rs 30 lakh to Ram Narayan's family from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Rs 5 lakh each will be given to the wife and mother and Rs 10 lakh each to the children. The amount in the children's name will be given as a fixed deposit. It was also decided to give the mother the interest earned from that fixed deposit for the needs of those children.

"The heart of a person from Kerala was donated to a Nepali national the other day. The surgery was performed at a government hospital. The heart was taken in a government helicopter. This is the greatness, brotherhood, human values, and human love that Kerala upholds. When Kerala does things that highlight its culture, some people with destructive minds are trying to destroy that goodness. People should realise that.

The RSS can never subdue the secular mind of Malayalis. The RSS has created hatred and riots in Kerala."
