Dhul-Hijjah crescent not sighted; Eid-ul-Adha in Kerala on May 28

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated in Kerala on Thursday, May 28, as the moon of Dhul-Hajj was not sighted today. Since the moon was not sighted on May 17, it has been announced that Dhul Qadah 30 will be completed on May 18 (Monday), Dhul-Hajj 1 will be on May 19 (Tuesday), and Eid-ul-Adha will be on May 28 (Thursday).
Palayam Imam Dr Suhaib Moulavi and Dakshina Kerala Jami'yyatul Ulama General Secretary Thodiyoor Muhammed Kunju Moulavi announced the date.
