THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan asked how the Kerala government suddenly had faith in Ayyappa, which they did not have for so many years. Will the government be ready to correct the affidavit given in support of the violation of Sabarimala rituals? The opposition leader also told media that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a good friend of Pinarayi Vijayan.
His words
'Community organizations including the Nair Service Society (NSS) can take whatever decision they want. It is their freedom. We want to ask the government. The government should answer to our three questions. First, how did they have faith in Ayyappa suddenly in this tenth year? The government has given an affidavit in support of the violation of rituals in Sabarimala. Is the government ready to correct it?
The second question is, thousands of cases have been filed against many including the NSS and political activists for holding the Namajapa procession. None of them has been withdrawn yet. Shouldn't those cases be withdrawn before the Global Ayyappa Sangamam? Had not lifted a small finger for the development of Sabarimala for nine years. The master plan was released in the tenth year.
We took on the political mission for exposing the fake devotees who came with the Sabarimala master plan with elections in mind. We had the responsibility to show the true face of the government to the people. A minister is getting goosebumps after seeing Yogi Adityanath's message. How many BJP members will have the same feeling. What message is given by bringing people who deliver hate speeches?
The CPM is now intervening in Kerala by giving space to the BJP and communal forces. This is pure communalism. Yogi Adityanath is a good friend of Pinarayi. No matter who speaks communalism, the UDF in Kerala will oppose it. We are ready to tolerate whatever problem arises in its name. '
