'I have clout with higher-ups, register murder charges against me'; Social media star Revanth Babu arrested

THRISSUR: The Social media influencer who attacked a policeman at the Paliyekkara toll plaza was arrested. Revanth Babu, a native of Varantharappilly, Thrissur, was arrested in the incident. It is reported that he attacked a policeman last night.

A barricade was erected at the toll plaza to allow vehicles to pass. However, he removed the keys of the vehicles that took time to pass through it. After getting information, the police arrived and tried to stop Revanth. In the meantime, Revanth attacked a policeman named Vishnu and injured him on the head. A case was registered under the non-bailable section.

Revanth Babu made a fuss when he was taken to the station and the hospital for a medical examination. He told the police about having higher clout within officials, and shouted at officers to dare register a case of murder against him.

Meanwhile, Revanth said that he was arrested for trying to resolve the traffic jam at Paliyekkara toll plaza.
