Kerala plus two exam results declared: Girls emerge top performers, 77.97 per cent pass rate in state
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The results of the state's higher secondary and vocational higher secondary examinations have been announced. The result was announced by General Education Minister N Shamsuddin at the PR Chamber in the Secretariat at 3 pm. The pass percentage in the state is 77.97 per cent. The previous pass percentage was 77.81.
More than 4.5 lakh students appeared for the Higher Secondary Examination this year. 26,826 students appeared for the Vocational Higher Secondary Examination.
Students can check their results through official websites and mobile applications. Last year, the pass percentage in Higher Secondary was 77.81 per cent and in VHSE 70.06 per cent.
The Minister expressed happiness over the girl students emerging as the better performers compared to the boys. The win percentage among girls' students also increased significantly this year. The win percentage among girls is ahead of boys by more than 20 per cent.
