THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress M Chairman Jose K Mani said that the UDF kicked out the Kerala Congress and it was Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who saved it. Jose K Mani also asked in a press conference how the party will go back to the place from where it was thrown out.

'Kerala Congress's entry into the UDF is an unopened chapter. No discussion has been held with the UDF leaders. Kerala Congress will demand 13 seats in the assembly elections. The party has been able to do many things in the last five years. It has done many democratic things. It was Kerala Congress that intervened in the buffer zone issue. It also demanded a solution to the problem of wild animal attacks. The party was also able to intervene in the appointment of differently-abled teachers. Kerala Congress was the first to intervene in the Munambam issue. Whether in the opposition or the ruling party, we will intervene in issues. Kerala Congress will demand more seats if the situation arises," Jose K. Mani clarified.
