KSRTC bus rams into Taurus lorry near Kochi; 44 injured, four in critical condition

ALAPPUZHA: A KSRTC Superfast bus crashed into a parked Taurus lorry at Eramalloor in Aroor. The bus, conducting service from Thiruvananthapuram to Palakkad, was involved in the accident. 44 people were injured in the accident.

The accident took place near the Kanjiramattom temple in Eramalloor near the national highway. There is ambiguity about what led to the accident. 21 of the injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Kochi. The condition of four of them is very serious. Rescue operations were carried out immediately after the accident.
