KSRTC driver parks bus and leaves midtrip; found dead by hanging later

THRISSUR: A KSRTC driver who left the bus after parking at the roadside in the middle of the trip was found dead by hanging. The dead is a native of Chathamangalam at Nenmara in Palakkad, identified as Babu (45), the resident of Namboothiripparambu House. He was found dead beneath the Manali bridge. He was driving the fast passenger bus from Ernakulam to Palakkad.
Babu left the bus after parking on the side of the national highway near Paliyekkara toll plaza. The conductor later stepped in and sent the passengers by another bus.
