Malayali student assaulted in bus; Conductor misbehaves, drops her midway

KASARGOD: Karnataka RTC conductor assaulted a college student on a bus. The conductor touched her inappropriately and when she questioned it, he hurled abuses at her and dropped her midway. The incident happened near Kasaragod at around 9 am today.

The conductor and the driver misbehaved with her and then dropped her at a place where there was no bus stop. The other passengers in the bus did not even intervene.
The victim is a student who regularly travels on a Karnataka RTC bus using a pass. Her statement to the police said this conductor had misbehaved with other students earlier also. The Manjeswaram police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
