Man suffocates to death while trying to save son from well in Thrissur

WADAKKANCHERRY: A man who jumped into a well to save his three-year-old son died tragically. Vishnu (30) of Wariyath Valappil, Marathukunnu, died in the incident. Vishnu’s son Ayush fell into the well last night, and without wasting any time, Vishnu jumped inside the well to rescue. The youngster got trapped inside and faced serious breathing issues. One of the locals entered the well and rescued Ayush, and shifted him to Thrissur Govt. Medical College Hospital. Fire and Rescue Services personnel from Wadakkanchery reached the spot and pulled Vishnu out, but his life could not be saved. Wife: Sunitha. The funeral will be held today.
