Man sustains injuries after jackfruit falls on head in General Hospital

PATHANAMTHITTA: A patient, who came for treatment at the General Hospital, sustained injuries after a jackfruit fell on his head. He has been identified as N Gangadharan Nair of Omallur. The incident happened in front of the casualty of the General Hospital in Pathanamthitta.

The accident happened when he was returning after buying medicines from the counter. The jackfruit fell on his head from the tree in front of the casualty department. Nair felt unconscious due to the impact. The people there soon rushed him to the hospital. He sustained injuries on his head, knee and elbows. Reports say that his condition is not serious but is under observation.
