THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three were arrested near the Bypass in Kovalam in a massive drug bust conducted by DANSAF. Three people were arrested with half a kilogram of MDMA. No further information about the suspects has been released.

Meanwhile, one more person was arrested in the case of possession of 115 grams of methamphetamine in an apartment near Elamkulam Metro Station in Kochi. Malappuram native Dulhaq (25) was arrested under the leadership of Ernakulam Town South Inspector Santhosh. On July 15, during a DANSAF inspection, Muhammed Shamil, Abu Shamil, Diya and Fajas Muhammed Adan were caught with MDMA. Information about Dulhaq was obtained during the interrogation of the accused.

Dulhaq was later arrested in Kochi. Police said that Dulhaq was transporting the methamphetamine from Bengaluru. There are indications that he has smuggled a large amount of MDMA in the last few months.
