No further probe into Naveen Babu's death, court rejects family's plea

KANNUR: The court has rejected the family's plea seeking further investigation into the death of ADM Naveen Babu. The Kannur Judicial First-Class Magistrate Court rejected the plea filed by Naveen Babu's wife Manjusha. The case is likely to be transferred to Thalassery Sessions Court. The court had earlier heard detailed arguments from both sides in the plea. It was adjourned to today to pronounce the decision.

The plea pointed that the investigation team did not conduct the investigation properly, conducted a biased investigation, made political arrangements in favor of the accused, and conducted the investigation from the beginning in such a way that Naveen Babu accepted bribes. The plea mainly contained 13 errors by the investigation team.
