'Not Sarin's words, M B Rajesh prepared script for presser'; Opp leader Satheesan responds

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan hit back at P Sarin saying it was CPM minister M B Rajesh, who prepared the script for Sarin to orate in the press conference.

V D SATHEESAN:

“CPM taunting me as arrogant and snobbish is fair because I know that their attacks are not directed at me. It is a veiled attack aimed at a CPM leader, but they fear to publicly criticise him and find solace in blaming me. I feel for them. Sarin’s words were verbatim of CPM's criticism against Congress.

The candidates were decided according to the Congress system. KPCC president, Ramesh Chennithala and I took the decision. All senior leaders were consulted. Sarin wanted the candidature but how can we field someone who often conducts covert meetings with CPM? The script for today's presser was prepared by M B Rajesh. ”
