
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on January 23. PM Modi will participate in two events organised by the Railways and the BJP at the same venue at Putharikandam Maidan, in East Fort. It is reported that the Prime Minister will arrive at 10.30 am. The event organised by the Railways will be from 10.45 am to 11.20 am.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate four trains and various railway projects. The BJP will also organise an event at the same venue after the first event. The Prime Minister will announce the development plan for the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, where BJP scripted a historic first-ever win. PM Modi will return to Chennai at 12.40 pm. It is also reported that the Prime Minister will visit Thiruvananthapuram again in February for events, including those planned by the Railways. The Railways and BJP had initially considered the Central Stadium for the event to be held on the 23rd.
