Sex worker's body stuffed in sack in Kochi; Blood stains inside George's house, more details out

KOCHI: The body found stuffed inside a sack near Konthuruthy Church is believed to be that of a sex worker from Ernakulam. The neighbours said the victim, not a Malayali, was not seen in the region before. The body was found on a plot of land owned by a man named George. It is reported that George has confessed to the crime.

Last night, George sought service from the woman and asked her to come to his house. Later, the two argued over the payment. In the meantime, he grabbed an iron rod and smashed it on her head, killing her instantly. George planned to stuff her body in a sack and dump it in the garbage. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning. Police said that George collapsed while trying to dump the body. Blood stains were found inside his house. Police said that the investigation to identify the woman is ongoing.

The Haritha Karma Sena members who came to collect garbage in the morning found George, who was in an inebriated condition, leaning against a sack. Upon seeing people, George asked them to help him stand on his feet. The residents immediately informed the councillor, who then informed the police.
