SFI unit at University College dissolved; probe ordered into financial irregularities

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SFI unit at University College in Thiruvananthapuram has been dissolved. The decision was taken by the SFI Thiruvananthapuram District Secretariat following the intervention of the state committee. The decision was taken following several complaints about repeated clashes and anti-organisation activities.

It was also decided to investigate the unit's financial irregularities. An ad hoc committee has also been formed by including a state committee member. The University College has been facing severe criticisms due to constant conflicts. The leaders at University College had split into rival groups and clashed with one another. The organisation was forced to take strict action as the complaints increased.
