Student’s phone explodes in Wayanad while sleeping

WAYANAD: A student's mobile phone exploded at Madakkimala in Kalpetta. The phone of Sinan, son of Shamsudeen Latwifi of Nellamkandy exploded. The incident happened Wednesday morning at 11 am.

The phone exploded while Sinan was dozing off with his phone close to him. He woke up hearing a sound. A major accident was averted as he threw the phone
far away after hearing the sound. The Redmi Note 7 Pro which exploded was bought two years ago. The reason for the explosion is not yet clear.
