Temperature to increase by up to three degrees

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Meteorological Department has predicted that temperatures in the state will be 2 to 3 degrees Celsius higher than normal for the next three days.

A Red Alert has been issued in Palakkad and Malappuram, where the Ultraviolet (UV) index has reached 11. Residents in these areas are advised to limit direct sun exposure between 11 AM and 3 PM to avoid health risks.
