Woman collapses on bus, dies before reaching hospital

THRISSUR: A passenger, who collapsed on a bus has died. She has been identified as Leena (56), daughter of Gopalan of Vanneri house at Kuttimavu in Anthikad. The incident happened Sunday morning. Leena, who had boarded a private bus from Kuttimavu, had expressed discomfort at the Anthikad All Centre. The conductor and other passengers in the bus gave her water. She was taken to a hospital in Kanjani and then to a private hospital in Thrissur in the same bus, but her life could not be saved.
