Woman security guard bitten by snake near Kerala Secretariat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In an alarming incident, a security guard from the women's battalion on duty at the Secretariat was bitten by a snake. The officer was on duty behind the protest tent of the Asha activists.

A snake crept onto her legs and bit her before wriggling out behind bushes. She was then admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, and her health condition is said to be stable.
