KANNUR: Former KPCC president K Sudhakaran MP said that the UDF door is not completely closed to PV Anvar and that the front will keep Anvar with them if he is ready to come. Sudhakaran said that he will personally try to bring Anvar along if he corrects himself.
"If Anvar had been with the UDF, it would have been a strength. The strong stances and statements he made against the CPM and the government attracted the UDF to Anvar. No one in the UDF still has any hatred or enmity towards him. Anvar's demands were what prevented him from joining the UDF. How can someone who does not accept the UDF candidate enter the front?" Sudhakaran also asked.
"If Anvar had said that he would accept the candidate, Satheesan would have brought him by the hand. Satheesan had a difference of opinion with Anvar when he disagreed with a decision he had taken. It doesn't matter just because the opposition leader loosen up. Anvar should also loosen up. A decision can be made only if both of them loosen up," Sudhakaran said.
"Even if Anvar is not there, the UDF candidate will win. The CPM made M Swaraj a scapegoat by making him the candidate in Nilambur," K Sudhakaran pointed out.
