MALAPPURAM: Trinamool Congress leader P V Anvar hinted of a strong fight in Nilambur. He said that he will stand with the people and that his strength is the people. He said that he will defeat both the fronts in the election. The majority cannot be predicted now. It is not possible to say now who will be affected by his contest. Voters from both the fronts will be with me. A clear answer will be given to the chief minister for addressing him as a betrayer. People will defeat the betrayers. This time the contest will be beneficial for the people, Anvar said while responding to a private channel.

Anvar said that this is an election where Pinarayi Vijayan and V D Satheesan are on one side and people on the other side. Anvar had earlier stated that the real betrayal is the chief minister's ability to use various communities in a use-and-throw manner.

Anvar responded through a post on Facebook to chief minister's speech saying that the Nilambur by-election was the result of a betrayal during the LDF election campaign and that the front is not worried about that. He also noted that a fight for justice is taking place in Nilambur.
