THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister Suresh Gopi's son and actor Madhav Suresh has reacted to the incident of being taken into police custody after he stopped a Congress leader's vehicle in Sasthamangalam. Madhav Suresh says that he has no complaint against Congress leader Vinod Krishna. Madhav wrote in a story shared on Instagram that both of them understood what they did wrong.
'No complaints against Vinod Krishna Sir, as we both understood what we did wrong to each other and he also knows how he initiated the situation.
Like a bad apple among a bunch, our wonderful police force has some bad apples too, and one of them, inspite of Vinod Sir not having a complaint, wanted to make sure cameras captured me getting into a police jeep.
The crowd over there also knew exactly what happened there.
I mean, nobody really cares about the truth do they...'. Madhav wrote.
Thursday night, at around 11 pm, Madhav Suresh stopped KPCC member Vinod Krishna's car in the middle of the road. Madhav was approaching the Congress leader by hitting the bonnet of the car and shouting, 'How dare you hit my car?' Madhav kept hitting the bonnet of the car with his hand. This led to a crowd at the scene.
As the problem worsened, the police arrived at the scene. After Vinod alleged that Madhav was drunk, the police put Madhav in a police jeep. The footage captured by someone at that time had gone viral. Madhav was taken to the station, and a medical test revealed that he was not drunk. The two groups talked and reached an agreement. The police released Madhav and Vinod after both of them stated that they had no complaints.
